Ha! I’ve just discovered where most of my favorite wire tutorial authors are hiding! I’ve been too busy to look there, but, today, I put in a serious hour of browsing at Craftsy.com, and there they were!
I’m not signed up to be an affiliate, or whatever they are calling it, but I just wanted to share the good news. There are all sorts of printable jewelry tutorials there, at all sorts of prices, including FREE! They also have video tutorials.

I found this tutorial at For the Makers . (For the Makers is a subscription site that sends you a box with all the materials and instructions to make whatever they are offering. That’s pretty cool!) Meanwhile, I was just looking at free tutorials, and this one is right there, and really easy to do. Check it out.
I found this “knock-off” Maleficent necklace tutorial on allfreejewelrymaking.com. If I were to make it, I’d probably put in some bigger stones/beads, but it does look worthy all on its own.

I don’t know if I can get much more pleased at the moment (well, okay, finding out that I had won the lottery might do it)! I was looking at cool jewelry ideas on jewelrylessons.com, and I noticed that all the ones I liked were by Donna Spadafore at gailavira.com, but I could not find any of her tutorials, so I decided to find out if she has a website. Lo and behold! she does! Not just any old website, but one that offers very reasonably priced very clearly written and detailed tutorials — and even some free ones that teach some of the things that I like about her pieces. Well! I just had to tell somebody, and so…..
I really love the little post earrings in the picture above, and I really love the technique in the picture to the left — what I really love about these two is that they were in her free tutorials collection.
In the paid tutorials, she has some very nice earcuffs – I’ve just read in some women’s magazine or other that earcuffs are all the rage right now – I don’t know – I just like them.

So I found this nifty necklace tutorial pictured on Handmade Jewelry Club’s site , clicked on it, and got sent to Better Homes and Gardens’ Style Blog , where I found out that this tutorial is really from I Spy DIY’s blog. Interesting trip around the Internet to realize that I haven’t been paying proper attention to some of the cool blogs I have found.
